A Place of Peace and Reflection

Dedicated to the Bahá'í Faith, this stunning structure is one of the most visited buildings in the world, attracting millions of visitors from all corners of the globe. With its unique lotus-flower shape, tranquil ambiance, and universal message of peace, the Lotus Temple offers a perfect space for reflection and spiritual solace.
A Unique Architectural Wonder
The Lotus Temple is renowned for its remarkable architecture, which resembles a blooming lotus flower, one of the most important symbols in various cultures and religions. Designed by the Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba, the temple is constructed with 27 free-standing marble petals, arranged in clusters to form the shape of a lotus. The petals are made of white marble, sourced from the famous Makrana quarries of Rajasthan, which also provided the marble for the Taj Mahal.
