One of the finest piece of architecture which was destroyed by the invaders. There were 64 idols of goddess and hence the name chausath yogini but currently there are only 63. Each idol is having a different hairstyle and ornaments. Such was the detailing... There is a platform in center which was used to perform tantric activities and hence the temple is open and doesnt have a roof. You will be mesmerised looking at the carvings and this is definitely not a place to miss when you are in Bhubaneswar... Better to visit during morning or evening hours as this place falls slightly outside the city... You can hire a ola/uber rental and cover this place along with Rajarani temple, Brahmeshwara temple and Bhaskareswara temple on the way
