Adumalleshwara Zoo

Adumalleshwara Temple is another known temple in the Chitradurga district. It is 5 kilometers Away from the fort. It is not just a Shiva temple, it also house a small zoo that shelters some big cats and other wild animals such as bear, crocodile, peacock, rabbits, etc. There is also a perennial stream that runs through the Nandi’s mouth, and opposite to the temple is a pond, home to rare fishes.
A good time to visit this temple is in the winter months. Although, insider’s suggest a good walk from the fort to the temple in the month of October.
