Anjani Mata Mandir

The famous temple of Anjani Mata situated in Salasar is a major pilgrimage place for devotees not only from Rajasthan but from the whole of India. The temple of Shri Anjani Mata is situated at a distance of about two kilometers from Salasar Dham on the road to Laxmangarh. The idol of the mother installed in this temple has Hanumanji in his child form sitting in the lap of the mother. In his four-armed life-size form, Anjani Mata is holding a conch and a Suhag-Kalash. Here Balaji Hanuman and his mother Anjani can be worshipped together. It is said that whoever comes to Salasar and worships both of them with a true heart, all his wishes are fulfilled.

The founder of the temple was Shri Pannaramji Pareek. His wife died in his youth. Then he went to Prayag and started meditating and worshipping on the banks of the Ganga there. One day Hanumanji, pleased with his devotion, appeared in his dream and ordered him to come to his abode Salasar. Inspired by the spirit of charity, he started giving cool water to the travelers and relieving their fatigue at Salasar Dham. Along with this, he started serving Anjani Nandan and Anjani Mata with devotion and remained immersed in their meditation. In 1963, the King of Sikar got the temple renovated as per the advice of Pandit ji. Anjani Mata Temple is especially famous for fulfilling the wishes of married women and newlyweds. Married women come here and offer coconut and Suhaag symbol for the success of their married and family life.

People from far and wide deposit the first invitation card of marriage in the temple. So that with the blessings of Anjani Mata, not only the marriage is successful but the newlyweds get all kinds of happiness.
