Bagheswari Hill

 

Bagheswari Hill is situated about 1 K.M. away from Bongaigaon town. The hill presents a natural watch tower where from entire town and its surrounding can be viewed.The Bagheswari Hill in Bongaigaon is located centrally within the city and Bageswari Hill is less than a kilometer from Bongaigaon town. The ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva inside a cave attracts devotees from various parts of India. Bageswari Temple and Baba Taraknath Temple are seen on either side of the cave, which add to the religious value of the place. This hill overlooks the Bagheswari Temple, lending its name to it. From its top points, one can enjoy panoramic views of the city.
