Bangar Museum

The Bangur Museum is a popular museum located in Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The museum is situated within the Bangor Public School campus, located on the city's outskirts.

The museum was established in 1982 by the Bangur Education Society to preserve and showcase the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. The museum boasts an extensive collection of artefacts and exhibits highlighting various aspects of Rajasthan's history, art, culture, and traditions.

The exhibits in the museum are spread over several galleries, each of which is dedicated to a specific theme or topic. Some of the galleries in the museum include the Ethnographic Gallery, which showcases the lifestyle and customs of the various communities in Rajasthan; the Archaeological Gallery, which displays artefacts from the Indus Valley Civilization and other ancient civilizations that flourished in the region; and the Art Gallery, which features a stunning collection of traditional Rajasthani paintings, sculptures, and handicrafts.

One of the museum's main attractions is the miniature painting gallery, which features a wide range of exquisite small paintings from various schools of art that flourished in Rajasthan over the centuries. The museum also has a library that houses a vast collection of books, manuscripts, and other documents related to Rajasthan's history and culture.
