Bordharan Dam

Bordharan is a magnificent dam in Wardha District. It is beautiful water reservoir surrounded by Satpuda hills and famous for its scenic beauty and the jungle around it. Bor is a superb destination to explore nature, landscape, wildlife and rural culture. The Bor Wild Life Sanctuary covers an area of about 121 square km. Bor Wildlife Sanctuary acts as a corridor between Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve and Pench Tiger Reserve. With rich flora and fauna of Satpura - Maikal Landscape, Bor Tiger Reserve is home to a wide variety of wild animals and birds. Variety of wild inmates such as the Tiger, Indian leopard, deer, monkey, wild boar, sloth bear, chital, sambar, Indian bison, blue bull, peacock and many bird species are abundant here.
