Chikla – Parwad region

 

Chikla – Parwad region is the high ridge along the Karnataka - Goa border which offers a perfect trekking destination for adventure enthusiasts. Chikla mountain ridge is a favourite among avid trekkers. During high monsoon period, Sowtera and Parwad waterfalls in the region offer natural beauty at its epitome. The 5 km trek with moderate difficulty offers splendid picturesque locales for the trekkers. The trek starts from the Chikla cross and ends at Parwad village in Belgaum.
