Dewaraha Baba Aashram

The birth of Devraha Baba is unknown. Even his exact age is not estimated. He was a resident of "Nath" Nadauli village, Lar Road, Deoria district of UP. There is doubt about the birth of revered Baba who gave up his life on Tuesday, 19 June 1990 on the day of Yogini Ekadashi. It is said that he lived for about 900 years. (There are different opinions about Baba's entire life, some people believe his life to be 250 years and some people believe it to be 500 years.)

According to Markandey Maharaj, who served Baba for about 10 years, who sat on a fire on the banks of Sangam in the Kumbh campus, Baba, who remained naked throughout his life, lived in a wooden platform (box) 12 feet above the ground. He would come down only in the morning to take a bath. His devotees are spread all over the world. Politicians, film stars and high ranking officials used to stay under his protection.
