This place is a perfect prelude to your tour of this region. For one, Podar ki haveli is one of the best-maintained mansions in this region. Now a museum of Rajasthani culture, it is the place that will introduce you to the typical layout of a Marwari haveli. Equipped with that kind of knowledge, you will appreciate the other Shekhawati Havelis better.

To be honest, Podar haveli museum Nawalgarh was almost toward the end of my journey. A walk through this magnificent mansion was so insightful that I really wish someone had told me to begin from here.
