Gandhi Samadhi

Apart from Rajghat in Delhi, the Samadhi of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, is also in Rampur. Bapu's ashes were brought to Rampur on 11 February 1948. A part of Bapu's ashes were immersed in the Kosi river. The remaining ashes were buried in a silver urn. Today, there is a magnificent Gandhi Samadhi here.
