Garhmukteshwar

Garhmukteshwar is a holy place and has a considerable religious importance in the Hindu religion. Garhmukteshwar is situated at the banks of River Ganges and is famous for Ganga Fair that is organized every year on the full-moon day in the month of kartika. People come to take a dip in the holy Ganga. Another fair is held in the month of Jyaistha on the occasion of Dussehra and attracts lakhs of people every year.
