Gurudwara Harian Vellan Patshahi VII
Gurdwara Harian Velan is located in Bajraur Village- 10 km away from Hoshiarpur. The name Harian Velan means green vines in the Punjabi language. History reveals that Guru Har Rai visited this place with wife and 2200 horsemen. Guru Har Rai was impressed by love and devotion of Baba Prajapati. Therefore, he thought of staying at his house. The place where Guru Har Rai stayed is the site of main Gurudwara of Harian Velan. Guruji taught principles and beliefs of Sikh religion and imparted spiritual knowledge to the people. Sahibzada Ajit Singh, the eldest son of Guru Gobind Singh also visited this holy place with his soldiers. He stayed here when he came back after releasing the wife of Paras Ram from the captivity of Zabar Khan. Many Sikh soldiers died in the war between the two. They were cremated here, and the place is known as Shaheedan Gurudwara. This Gurudwara lies on the right side of the Main Darbar Sahib. You will find lush green vines at the entrance of the Gurudwara. The Moti Sarovar is located in the eastern direction and is surrounded by bushes and herbs. Sikh followers visit this place to seek the blessings of Almighty.
