Jain Mandir
The quaint city of Ambala is home to 105-year-old Shri Supashvarnath Jain Temple. Thousands of devotees come to visit this place of worship from far and wide throughout the year. If you are a religiously inclined tourist, do pay a visit to this revered Jain temple. It is believed to house idols that are more than 2,500 years old. Located at Ambala Sadar, this shrine houses four idols of Jain deities. There are sculptures of Chanda Prabhu, Arihant, Shantinath, and Parshavnath, with the sculpture of Chanda Prabhu being the largest. Legend states that the Digamber sect of Jainism finds its roots in Ambala, thus making it a very significant center of worship amongst Jains.
