About 45 kilometres from Palanpur, Jessore Sloth Bear Sanctuary is located. Its primary mission is to ensure the survival of the elusive sloth bear. The Jessore Sloth Bear Sanctuary was established in 1978 and is located in the Banaskantha district, encompassing an area of around 180 square kilometres.
