Jiribam Horticulture Farm

Jiribam Horticulture farm is a place of cultivating Cashew Nut crop. It is a must visit place for the visitors where they can see the cultivation of fresh fruits and nuts. The sight of the farm is very beautiful.Jiribam is an important town located in the Imphal East district in Manipur. Jiribam is situated on the western most boundary of Manipur, adjacent to the Cachar district of Assam. The town is also known as the western gate of Manipur. There different tribes belonging to various communities inhabiting in the state such as Meitei-Pangan, Meteis, Bengalis, Nagas, Kukis, Tangkhul, Thadou, Kabui, Hmar and many more. Jiribam is also one of the rapidly growing towns in Manipur. The name of the town is derived from the Jiri River that runs through the city. The meaning of Jiribam is an inhabited area around the Jiri River.
