Kankai Mata Temple

 

Kankai Mata Temple, one of the best places to visit in Sasan Gir is a revered temple located inside the wildlife sanctuary. Located around 25 kilometres from Sasan Gir, Kankai Mata Temple is dedicated to Shri Kankeshwari Mataji, who is also known as Shri Kankai Mataji. The Goddess is popular among the people living in surrounding areas of Gir Forest as well as in the whole state for being the protector of the shepherds roaming here.
