Khonsa

The natural surroundings, unusual nature, and location make it an ideal tourist destination. Upper Siang is home to four major tribes: Adi, Memba, Khamba, and Mishmis. They have coexisted with each other since time immemorial, albeit having diverse socio-cultural lives. The Adis and Mishmis are animists who worship the Sun and Moon, respectively, whilst the Membas and Khambas are Mahayana Buddhists.
