Kukru

Betul district is situated in the Surmuktas of Satpura. Kukru Betul is the highest peak in the district. About 92 km away from the district headquarters. Korku tribe resides in this area. For this reason only this area is known as Kukru. Its height is 1137 meters from the sea level. It is very pleasant to see the rising sun from here and to see the sun that is sunset. Kukru is also famous for quite a gardener. This natural site is covered with forested forests from all four sides.
