Lachung River

North Sikkim has wealthy beauty, the Lachung River is a serene tributary of the Teesta River, which attracts vacationers. The river comes from the snow-capped Himalayas and meanders via verdant hills and old-fashioned villages giving this region a mysterious appeal in the palm standing on the top, imparting a breathtaking view of the shimmering waters of the river at the back of majestic mountains. The crystal-clear waters of the river are the lifeblood of a community, they present irrigation water for terraced fields, and hold many flowers and animals. The River is especially attractive at some stage in the winter season while the sweeping landscape is blanketed by snow, and it is growing in a fairytale setting rich in culture, the entire area is inhabited by the Lachungpa humans so, together with Losar Saga and Dawa have specific moments of awe, making them deep -Original traditions and moments in concord with nature spread.
