Manimuthar Waterfalls

Manimuthar Falls are located in the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. They are created by the waters of the River Manimuthar that originates in the Western Ghats. The Manjolai Hills grace the region atop the Manimuthar cascade. These hills are mainly covered in commercial tea plantations. The Manimuthar Falls are located at a distance of 47 kilometers from the district headquarters of Tirunelveli. These falls come under the Kalakad Mundandurai Tiger Reserve area. The Manimuthar Falls are a part of the Ambasamudram range of mountains.
