Mini Pavagadh

The famous Mahakali temple known as Mini Pavagadh is located in Vaktapur village of Himmatnagar taluka of Sabarkantha district. This place is 8 km from Himmatnagar taluka headquarters and approximately 300 meters from Himmatnagar - Idar state highway. The site of the Mahakali temple has been inhabited since the 300-year-old Vaktapur village. Pilgrims going to Ambaji, Mount Abu as well as a large number of people from Himmatnagar city and taluka come here for darshan. Pilgrims come to this place in large numbers every Sunday and on religious festivals such as Poonam, Shravan Vad Atham, Mahateras and other festivals.
