Nandan Pahar Deoghar

Nandan Pahar is a famous recreation site in Deoghar (Jharkhand). It is a perfect picnic spot for the people that wish to take a break from the daily schedules of the life. As its name suggests, this amusement park is located on a hill in Deoghar. From this park, a panoramic view of the nearby area can be witnessed. According to the history, this hill got its name because of Nandi, the bull of Lord Shiva. According to folklore, he was thrown on this hillock while battling Ravana who tried invading Lord Shiva’s abode Baidyanath.
