Nandani Dam

Nandini Dam is most famous as  the largest dam in Lohardaga district . The main purpose of this dam was to provide irrigation water to the farmers of this place. The water is drained through a canal. The farmers of this dam grow crops in their fields by using water from the canal. Nandini Dam is spread over a very large area. Due to its large area and being huge, it has a lot of gates. During the rainy season, this gate is opened because the water in this dam is drained out due to the excess water.
