Ningshing Khubham

Ningshing Khubham is a memorial located in Jiribam. This is also known as Ancestral Heroes Complex. There are statutes of Bir Tikendrajit, Paona Brajabashi, Meitei Lai and Thangal General in the complex. On the 13th August every year Patriots Day is celebrated here.Jiribam is an important town located in the Imphal East district in Manipur. The town is also known as the western gate of Manipur. There different tribes belonging to various communities inhabiting in the state such as Meitei-Pangan, Meteis, Bengalis, Nagas, Kukis, Tangkhul, Thadou, Kabui, Hmar and many more. Jiribam is also one of the rapidly growing towns in Manipur. The name of the town is derived from the Jiri River that runs through the city. The meaning of Jiribam is an inhabited area around the Jiri River.
