Raiyoli

 

Raioli near Balasinor is one of the most important dinosaur sites in Asia. The fossilized bones of the Rajasauras Narmadensis, a dinosaur with an unusual head crest, were discovered here.Rayoli is famous for the findings of the Rajasaurus Dinosaur – the regal dinosaur from the Narmada. It was 30 feet long and 9 feet high and weighed around 3-4 tonnes.The Raioli Dinosaur Site was first discovered in 1981 & the fossils at the Raioli Site are more than 65 million years old.The park also has an interpretation center for dinosaur fossil park. Fossils can be seen on the rocks of the park.It is also said to be World’s 3rd largest Dinosaur Fossil Site.
