Rajarajan Mani Mandapam

 It is the  southern part of Thanjavur. This structure has been built during the 8th World Tamil Conference in 1995. This Manimandapam has museum owned by state archaeology Department  in its ground floor.  The Tourism promotion council under chairmanship of District collector maintain the park in side the Manimandapam. Rajarajan Manimandapam is located in the Southern Part of Thanjavur. It was built in 1991 during the 8th World Tamil Conference. It is a beautiful structure and is built in the style of the buildings constructed during the Chola period.The small and well maintained garden inside is an ideal for children with swings, slides and other such things. It is having a museum in the ground floor, which was built in 1984 to commemorate the 1000th birth anniversary of Raja Raja Chola, who as the most famous king in Thanjavur.
