SRI CHAKRA MAHAMERU TEMPLE

Sri Chakra Mahameru temple Situated in Nagalore which lies at a distance of 7 km from the Yercaud Lake, the temple is easily accessible.The serene and vibrant ambience of the temple attracts many tourists every year. Devotees believe that when they throw a coin in this pit and wish for something, the wish comes true. Goddess Lalitha Tripurasundari, who is the prime deity here, is true to her name as Lalitha which means the one who plays the role of creation, protection, and destruction.The ideal time to pay a visit to the temple is from October to June since the climate here is fantastic and worth sightseeing. Also, it is advisable to visit the temple during May when a seven-day summer festival is organized comprising of dog shows, flower shows, village fairs, and boating races. Avoid visiting the place during monsoons since the time won't be ideal for sightseeing.
