SRI PRASANNA VENKATACHLAPATHY TEMPLE

Gunaseelam Vishnu Temple (Abhimana Sthalam) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu located 20 km (12 mi) from Trichy. It is located on the banks of river Kollidam.This temple is said to be constructed by the grandson of Karikal Chozhan. The temple timings open from 9.00am to 5.00pm on Purattasi Saturdays.Holy Tulsi Theertham is offered at the sannidhis of Perumal and Thayar. Vibhuti (holy ash)Prasad is offered at the Karuppanna Swamy temple.The temple has six daily rituals at various times from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and three yearly festivals on its calendar. The annual Brahmotsavam (prime festival) is an eleven-day festival attended by thousands of devotees from far and near.
