Sandipani Ashram

Ujjain is a city of temples, where ancient and modern cultures coexist. It is one of the oldest and most sacred cities in India, and a place of pilgrimage for Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains. Among the many temples and shrines that adorn the city, one of the most historic and spiritual ones is the Sandipan Ashram, also known as the Sandipani Muni Ashram.Sandipan Ashram is a holy shrine that is built in remembrance of the Maharishi Sandipani, who was the guru of Lord Krishna, his brother Balaram, and his friend Sudama. The ashram is also the place where Lord Krishna learned the Vedas, Puranas, Shastras, and other scriptures.
