Sant Sarovar Dam

Built to block the fierce currents of River Sabarmati, the Sant Sarovar Dam is one of the most frequently visited picnic destinations of Gandhinagar. Set right by the Sarita Garden, many people come here to take a dip in the holy river and spend a fun-filled weekend with their loved ones. Tread carefully during monsoons- it may get slippery and the currents are stronger.
