Saraighat bridge
Saraighat bridge is a road-cum-rail bridge located over the river Brahmaputra in Assam. It is the vital link between North East region and the rest of the India. It is the first bridge to have been built on the Brahmapjutra river. It was opened to public in April 1962 by India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
