Sardar Patel Memorial
The Sardar Patel Memorial is a museum in Anand, Gujarat. It was established in 1962 and showcases the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, one of India’s greatest freedom fighters.
There are five galleries in this museum:
The Childhood Gallery shows photos and artifacts from his childhood days;
The Freedom Struggle Gallery features items related to his politicalcareer—including documents signed by Mahatma Gandhi—as well as awards he received for serving as deputy prime minister of India;
The Family Life Gallery has information about his personal life including letters from family members such as his wife Jhaverba Bai;
Coin Collection Gallery displays coins issued by him or bearing his image on them; and finally, 5). Documentary Films on Sardar Patel showcase how he led the fight against British rule through nonviolent means
