Satagawan Petro Falls

Rising in the Mahawar hills below the Satgawan police station, 70 kilometres from the Koderma district headquarters, the Petro waterfalls are a magnificent sight for tourists, surrounded by greenery. The sight of the water cascading down from the hills is breath taking. There are many other waterfalls flowing down from the large hills in the area. The top of Mahawar hill is also home to the shrine of Maa Vindhyavasini. Many devotees visit to offer prayers throughout the year.
