Shakti Temple

 

The Shakti Temple is amongst the most popular places of sightseeing in Uttarkashi, particularly among religious pilgrims and spiritual tourists. Located close to Viswanath temple, this place is known for a mighty Trishul, made of iron and copper. This long and sturdy Trishul is believed to be thrown by Goddess Shakti- another form of Goddess Durga, to kill the demons and evil power.
