Shamirpet Lake

Shamirpet Lake, popularly known as Pedda Cheruvu, is one of Hyderabad’s most well-designed tourist attractions. This lovely manmade lake, located around 27 kilometres from Secunderabad, epitomises tranquilly and tranquillity. Shamirpet Lake is also close to the ‘Jawahar Deer Park,’ which adds to the beauty of the region. On the shores of the lake, a herd of deer can usually be found refreshing their thirst, which is a wonderful sight.

The region surrounding the lake is densely forested, and there are many different sorts of plants and trees to be found here. The region has received special attention, and as a result, woodland cabins have been built around the lake for the comfort of guests. Boating is one of the most popular activities at the lakes, and it’s a great opportunity to see the lake’s natural beauty. For photographers and birdwatchers, this is a fantastic location.
