Sri Malyadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple

The mythology was that when Lord Narayana swamy was on Seshathalpam, He asked Goddess Mahalakshmi, was sitting next to His feet on Palasamudram that if you have any wishes ask for it I will do it for you. And the Goddess requested Lord Narayana swamy that there are only few Divya Kshetras built on the earth and the devotees could not be able to go there because of its expenses. So She asked Him to build a Divya Kshetra for the devotees. On Her request, Lord Narayana Swamy created the holy mountain Vanamala which was later came to be called as Malakonda or Malyadri and made Kshetra for the devotees.
