Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple
Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple in Kudavasal village is devoted to Lord Srinivasa, a form of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that Lord Srinivasa, along with his consorts Bhoomadevi and Sridevi, appears here. It is the only north-facing sanctum of Lord Srinivasa in the world. The 400 years old temple was constructed by Maharajah Krishnadevaraya of the Vijayanagar Dynasty between 1509 and 1529. Located 15kms from Oppiliappan temple(Tirupathi Srinivasa's elder brother) on the Kumbakonam-Tiruvarur highway is the Srinivasa Perumal temple, in Kudavasal, considered to be the younger brother of Tirupathi Srinivasa.
