Teerthdham Magalayatanam
Complex located on Aligarh – Agra highway on the outskirt of Aligarh , is considered as one of the largest Jain religious centers of its kind in the country. In the Mangalayatan complex, it is an attractive place The famous campus; dedicated to Jain Religion, has 5 temples inside the complex.
Bhagwan Mahavir,
Bhagwan Adinath,
Bhagwan Bahubali,
Bhagwan Adinath Swami Mansthamb,
Bhagwan Jiwani Mandir.
The Bahubali Temple, which covers an area of the 4000 sq.feet .
The temple houses a white marble statue of Bhagwan Bahubali, in standing posture. The 7'3" high statue of the Bahubali stands on a 24" high lotus platform.
Two identical temples one of Adinath and other of ‘Muniraj Bharat & Muniraj Bahubali’ are on both sides of main temple.
In standing posture, the temple also has statues of Muniraj Bharat and Muniraj Bahubali. The architecture design of the temple is same as that of the Mahavir temple. With portraits of Muniraj Padmaprabhamaldharidev and Dharsenacharyadev, the hall of the temple has been adorned. These portraits have been engraved on 4' x 4.5' sized marble panels. The marble slabs of 4' x 2' size.
In addition to above Dhanya Munidasha Caves are the other attractions of campus.
Swadya Bhavan for assembly & meditation,
Mangal Vidyapeeth for education of children
The temple campus also houses a Swadya Bhavan for assembly & meditation & Mangal Vidyapeeth for education of children, where courses on knowledge of Jain Philosophy are also conducted.
The Bahubali temple also houses a research institute and a small library until their spacious individual buildings, proposed to be built in the second phase of development, are ready.
