The Akashiganga Waterfall Nagaon

 

The beautiful and green state of Assam is also a place for this enchanting waterfall amidst the lush greenery and high mountains and hills. It is situated close to Doboka town on the Dimapur-Doboka Road which is 50 km to the southeast of Nagaon district in Assam. The waterfall has a holy place with the Shakti Cult in the Kalika Puran. Pilgrims take a holy dip in the water pool formed by the waterfall. The waterfall along with other ruins of historical importance holds an inherent charm. You will also find large herds of elephants roaming freely in this region.
