Thengal Bavan

 

Constructed in 1929, Thengal Manor is a beautiful mansion, which is now a popular heritage hotel in Jorhat. It was also the site of the event of launching of 'Dainik Batori', the first daily newspaper in the Assamese language. Lying in the lap of nature, this mansion has four double Deluxe Rooms and one single Superior Room, filled with all kinds of contemporary comforts. The decor and furniture is from the colonial days.
