Yoganandishwara Temple
The Yoganandishwara temple on Nandhi Hill was built in the Drawidan and Chola styles of architecture. Sri.Krishnadevaraya is reported to have gifted the Dwarapalakas’ idols. According to an inscription on the temple’s outside wall, Sambaji S/o Chatrapathi Shivaji conquered the hill from the Mughal rulers. Another historical site worth viewing is Devaraya’s Veerabhadra temple, which was built about 1397 A.D.
