Sarbamangala Devi Temple
The Sarbamangala Devi Temple in Barddhaman is one of the most famous temples in the district which is visited by a large number of devotees regularly. Considered to be the presiding Goddess of Burdwan Raj, the idol of Goddess Durga or Sarbamangala Devi, as she is popularly known in these parts, is said to have been found from the sand bed of River Damodar.

Tomb of Sher Afghan
The Tomb of Sher Afghan which is the burial ground of this last Afghan jagirdars of the city of Bardhaman, is located beside Pir Beharam close to the Rajbati. Also known as Ali Quli Khan Istaju, Sher Afghan was often called the ‘Durgadhipati’ of Bardhaman and he lived in Burdwan as a ‘Jagirdar’ during the late Mughal period which was also considered to be an important administrative headquarters. Kutubuddin, the Subedar of Bengal was also the milk-brother of Jahangir, who succeeded the throne after Akbar.

Kankaleshwari Kali Temple
The Kankaleshwari Kali temple is a “Nabaratna Temple” – so called, because it has 9 (nine) peaks, though 6 (six) peaks are visible from the front. The Navaratna style of temple architecture (meaning "nine gems") incorporates two main levels, each with four spired corner pavilions, and a central pavilion above, for nine spires.

Ramnabagan Zoological Park
Ramnabagan Wildlife Sanctuary is in Bardhaman, West Bengal, India. The animals found include spotted deer and common langur. Ramnabagan Mini Zoo in the Ramnabagan Wildlife Sanctuary spread over an area of 14.31 hectares is in Mouza Baburbag in Burdwan. This forest patch is under the control of Divisional Forest Officer, Burdwan Division who acts as Ex-Officio Director of the Zoo. The area was declared as reserved forest in 1960. In 1978, the area had been converted to a deer park with the introduction of six spotted deer.
