Biswanath Ghat

There is also an island is present nearer this Biswanath Ghat which is known as island of Umatumuni. This island is a tourist spot as it houses a tourist lodge and also some remnants of an old temple. Just on the opposite bank of the Brahmaputra lies the majestic Kaziranga National Park, and in the far distance, you can see the hills of Karbi Anglong.

Biswanath Chariali

Biswanath Chariali is a city and a civil board in Biswanath locale in the state of Assam, India. This city is the locale central command of Biswanath area, which was made on 15 August 2015. It gets its name from Biswanath Ghat. It holds the main "Clock Tower" ghanta ghar, ordinarily found in North Indian towns of Assam taken after by the clock tower of Dibrugarh.

Nagsankar Temple

Nag-Sankar Temple is a famous shrine situated near Sootea, to the east of Tezpur, in Sonitpur District. The temple is believed to be built by King Narasankar of Nagakha in the 4th century. Nag-Sankar Temple has a large pond with hundreds of rare variety of soft-shell turtles. A large number of peacocks are also found here. Python, deer and also other animal keep the temple environment always a visitor's attraction.
