Draksharama Temple

Draksharamam or Daksharamam is one of the five Pancharama Kshetras that are sacred to the Hindu god Shiva and also 12th of Ashtadasha Shakthi Peetams. The temple is located in Draksharamam town of Konaseema district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Bhimeswara Swamy refers to Lord Shiva in this temple. Poet Mallikarjuna Panditaradhyudu who wrote first independent work in Telugu and who spread Veerasaivism in Andhra region during medieval ages was born in this town.

Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary

Corangi or Coringa is a beautiful Mada or Mangrove Forest, where the river Godavari joins the backwaters of Bay of Bengal. Between this area and the sea " Hope Island " blocks the direct confluence of the sea and Godavari. As a result, about 40% of the sanctuary is only sea-backwaters and the rest of the area is intermingled with creeks and gets inundated with tidal waters.

Papi Hills

Papikondalu mountain range runs along the River Godavari (Western Godavari) and is located in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. Papikondalu is a sheer fest to the eyes in terms of its scenic beauty. As the hills become closer and closer to the visitor, the width of the mighty Godavari becomes narrower. In accordance with this view resembling the middle partition of a woman's hair, it was initially named as 'Papidi' Kondalu- Paidi in Telugu means the middle partition of a woman’s hair. Later, it came to be known as Papikondalu in the local language.
