Gujari Mahal Archaeological Museum

The Gujari Mahal Archeological Museum or State Archaeological Museum, sometimes called the "Gwalior Fort Museum", is a state museum in Gwalior, located in the fortress of Gujari Mahal. It displays numerous artifacts of the region, including a fragment of the Garuda capital of the Heliodorus pillar from Vidisha.The palace of Gujari Mahal was built by Tomar Rajput ruler Man Singh Tomar for his wife Mrignayani who belonged to Gujjar tribe.

Italian Garden

At a distance of 2 km from Gwalior Junction, Italian garden is a park situated next to the Gwalior Zoo in the Phool Bagh area of Gwalior. It is an ideal picnic spot for the whole family or a group of school children.The Garden adjacent to the Palace grounds is built in Italian style. Tighra Dam

Gwalior Zoo (Gandhi Zoological Park)

Gwalior is an exciting city with a rich heritage, and the Gwalior Zoo is just another feather in the cap. Established by the royal family Madhao Rao Scindia back in 1922, the Gandhi zoo (as it is also known) is actually a section of a larger garden known as Phool Bagh and houses various rare species of animals. Golden peasants, sambhars, bison, hyena, spotted deer, black bucks and a white tiger forms the variety of wild animals that can be found here. Several smaller populations of crocodiles, snakes, monkeys, and birds have also made the zoo their home.
