Lakhota Lake & Palace

At a distance of 4 km from Jamnagar Railway Station, Ranmal Lake is a manmade lake located in the heart of Jamnagar city. Also called as Lakhota Lake, it is one of the largest water bodies in the city and among the prime places to visit in Jamnagar.

Pirotan Island

Spreads over an area of 3 Sq. km, Pirotan Island is one of the 42 islands which compose the first Marine National Park in India. It is one of the two islands in the Marine National Park opened for tourists, other one being Narara Island. Pirotan Island is a gem for the people who love nature and adventure as it gives an opportunity to witness the colourful coral reefs, mangroves, and incredible aquatic creatures like jelly fish, octopus, star fish, sea snakes, hermit crabs, sea horse, sea slugs, green sea turtles and dolphins.

Bala Hanuman Temple

Lord Hanuman is honored at the Bala Hanuman Temple, also referred to as Shri Bala Hanuman Sankirtan Mandir. By the year 1964 A.D., Shri Prembhikshuji Maharaj had built the temple. The idols of Lord Ram, Lakshman, Goddess Sita, and Hanuman are kept in the temple. Since 1964, the temple has chanted "Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram" continuously 24 hours a day, earning it a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Marine National Park

Gujarat has the distinction of creating the country's first Marine National Park spread over an area of nearly 458 sq kms in the Gulf of Kutch, 30 kms. from Jamnagar. Here corals create fantasies in stone and are the master builders of the Park. Ranmal Lake Park

In the centre of old Jamnagar, on an island, are located two magnificient old structures, the Lakhota Fort, in middle of the Lake and Bhujia Kotha just near by to the Lake. Lakhota Fort is Jamnagar's Museum and its terraces display a fine collection of sculpture that spans from a period of the 9th Century to the 18th Century.

Dwarkadhish

Bhujiyo Kotho

Ranmal Lake (Lakhota Lake) in the middle of Jamnagar city spreaded over 5 lakh square meters and is divided into three parts. Darbargadh

The walled city of Bhuj was the capital of the princely state of Kutch in the Gujarat. The darbargodh, or palace complex, within the city was begun by the princes of Kutch in 1548 and was added to over several centuries, reflecting the artistic and cultural development of the city and principality.
