Maa Mundeshwari Temple

This temple is located on the summit of Piwara hill, with a height of about 600 feet. According to archaeologists British travelers R. N. Martin, Francis Buchanan and Block visited this temple between 1812 and 1904. The  inscription made on this temple is of middle of 389 AD indicating its ancestry. The stone carvings of  the Mundeshwari Bhavani temple are of Gupta period.

baidyanath temple

Baidyanath Village is situated at 9 kms south of Ramgarh block headquarters. A Shiva temple built by the late Pratihar dynasty is located here. Coins and valuables of historical importance have been unearthed here.

karakatgarh

The Karkatgarh Waterfall was a crocodile hunting place for Mughal rulers and British officials who also came to enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna around the place. British officials constructed a dak bungalow with a view on the 300 feet wide and 100 feet high waterfall.

Telhar is the name of a waterfall located in the Kaimur district of Bihar, India. The fall is located close to the origins of Durgavati River. It is only a few kilometres from the Durgavati reservoir project.
