Baisipalli Wildlife Sanctuary

Baisipalli Wildlife Sanctuary was created on 6 May 1981 and is located in Nayagarh, Odisha, India, adjacent to the Satkosia Gorge Wildlife Sanctuary. It is 168.35 square kilometres (41,600 acres) of sanctuary land, home to bear, elephant, leopard, sambar deer and spotted deer

The sanctuary is located where the Mahanadi River passes through a gorge in the Eastern Ghats mountains. Elevations range from near sea level to about 900 metres (3,000 ft)

Gokulananda Park

This center is situated on the bank of river Mahanadi. The tourism center consists of Gokulananda temple, an attached picnic area. The temple is on the top of the hill. It is founded by late Sri Baba Swami Ram Laxman Dash Maharaja. It is nice to watch the panoramic view of the hill and flowing water of Mahanadi from the hill as well as from Sidhamula bridge. The hill is full of tall trees and medicinal plants. There is nearly 1 km of plane surface full of greenery on bottom of the hill on the bank of river Mahanadi suitable for cooking as well as playing games which attracts most of the local and nearby district tourists to this place

Puri

The history of the foundation of Nayagarh State in the thirteenth century is an important chapter in the political history of Odisha. Suryamani of Baghela dynasty came to Puri on a pilgrimage from "Rewa" of Madhya Pradesh and established his kingdom at Nayagarh. On the way to Puri, both Suryamani and his brother Chandramani took rest at night at Gunanati. The area was full of tigers and at night a tiger attacked him. Both the brothers fought the tiger and killed it. The local people praised the brave brothers and elected Suryamani as their leader.

Nilamadhaba Temple

Standing elegantly on the banks of the river Mahanadi, Kantilo is famous for the temple of Lord Nilamadhaba, on top of the twin hills with surrounding green forests. Lord Nilamadhaba occupies a prominent position in the cult of Lord Jagannath. This temple is a miniature form of the Sri Jagannath Temple at Puri and observes similar rites rituals.
