Kaho

Situated 40 KM from Walong and nestled in a picturesque valley amidst pine-clad lofty mountains and spell-binding ambience, is the primary village of India; Kaho from wherein China is simplest at a stone’s throw away. It is 240 KM from Tezu in the Lohit district. The sleepy and non-descript Kaho village is located at the left financial institution of the strong Lohit river which flows in its crystal clear greenish colour in the Kibithu circle of Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh. The literary means of Kaho is the ‘living region of many priests.’

Kibithoo

Kibithoo is one of the most remote Circle Headquarters in Arunachal Pradesh and the only Circle Headquarters facing the border of India and China. Kibithoo is located 87 km northeast of Hawaii, on the right bank of the Rohit River, at an elevation of 1305 meters above sea level. Tall blue mountains set against a pleasantly cool climate add to Kibithoo’s charm. In the past, this place was also where the war between India and China took place in 1962.

Namti Valley

Hot Spring(Tilam)

On the left side of the Lohit River is Hawai, the district headquarters for the Anjaw district. In the Kaman Mishmi dialect, "Hawai" means "pond". An acre of ground in the city's centre that was once a pond is now used for permanent paddy cultivation.

River Lohit, a tributary of the Brahmaputra, runs parallel to the Ton. It is located on the left side of the river Lohit and about 58 kilometres southeast of Hayuliang by road. Hawai is one of the most picturesque locations in Arunachal Pradesh, thanks to the lovely scene of the Lohit valley and the settlement's dominating height.
